Popular Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo is dead

Popular Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has been lost to the cold hands of death. He died at a Lagos, hospital.

The actor who has been absent from social media space passed away today, May 12th, 2026, at the age of 40.

Ekubo’s absence from social media had sparked concern among fans. His last Instagram post was made on December 30, 2024.

Alexx Ekubo is well known in the Nigerian movie industry for his acting prowess. He has a close relationship with actor IK Ogbonna.

While he was alive, Alexx Ekubo had a relationship with Fancy Achelonu; however, the relationship hit a rough patch, and the reason behind it is not disclosed publicly.
