Police Re-arrest Sowore Moments After Court Grants Bail

Police officers on Friday allegedly assaulted and re-arrested activist Omoyele Sowore outside the Kuje Magistrate Court, shortly after he was granted bail.

Eyewitnesses said officers, led by CSP Ilyasu Barau, dragged and punched Sowore before forcing him into a van, despite his bail conditions being processed.
