Pay Correct Tithe or Your Life Will Be Tight” – Pastor Ibiyeomie Sparks Debate with New Sermon

…..My Sunday offering is $12,000, while weekday offerings start from $2,000., says Ibiyeomie…..

Popular Nigerian cleric, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has stirred widespread reactions following a recent sermon in which he emphasized the importance of tithing and generous giving.

In the message, the pastor declared that financial prosperity is closely tied to giving, warning that failure to pay tithe could negatively impact one’s life.
“You have to pay correct tithe if you don’t want your life to be tight,” he stated.

He went further to reveal his personal giving standard, noting that his minimum Sunday offering is $12,000, while weekday offerings start from $2,000.

The preacher also stressed that his wealth is not dependent on congregants’ offerings. “If you don’t give me offering, I’ll still be stinkingly rich,” he said.
According to him, generosity is a spiritual principle tied to prosperity, while stinginess leads to lack.

“Stinginess is the gateway to poverty and giving is the gateway to prosperity. Every poor man is stingy,” he added.

The remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some supporting his teachings on giving, while others question the messaging and its implications for struggling believers.
