Owo Attack: Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare (OGO) condemns the massacre, commiserates with victims’ families and called for immediate action on insecurity
The Social Democratic Party Candidate in Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Comr. Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, has condemned the horror unleashed on worshippers of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owaluwa Owo in Ondo State today.
In a statement made available to news men, Ogundare described the incident as unfortunate and calls for immediate action by the government and the security architect of the State.
“This is a massacre, and the horror released on my people is unacceptable, for how long do we battle insecurity in our communities? It is high time we put up a stronger security architecture in place so as to avert to the bearest minimum the spate of crime in our society.” He said.
He further commiserates with the families of the victims and prays for the quick recovery of the survivors.
“As a peace-loving people, I implore us to be calm, even as actions are being made by the government and stakeholders to curb the reoccurrence of this horrific act. He stated.
