Outrage as Nigerian Criticises Tinubu Over Alleged Approval of Sunday Igboho’s Armed Security Outfit

A concerned Nigerian has openly criticised President Bola Tinubu over reports that a militia-style security group linked to Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, received approval to operate and bear arms.

The criticism follows the recent unveiling of the “Iru Ekun” security network by Igboho, who claimed the initiative was established to protect communities in southwestern Nigeria from kidnappers, terrorists and other criminal elements terrorising the region…

Speaking during the launch of the outfit, the Yoruba Nation activist disclosed that he consulted President Tinubu before floating the group and allegedly received approval from the federal government to proceed with the initiative.
