Says it’s a New Dawn in Ondo state
In a heartfelt congratulatory message, community development advocate Olufunke Aruna has commended the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, on two significant milestones — their victory at the Ondo State Election Tribunal and the successful 100 days in office.
Aruna described the twin achievements as a testament to the Governor’s “purposeful leadership, bold vision, and sincere commitment to the people of Ondo State.” She emphasized that the administration’s actions over the last three months have inspired hope, ushering in a new wave of development tailored to the needs of the people, under the guiding framework of the “Our Ease Agenda.”
Highlighting key infrastructural achievements, Aruna lauded the flag-off of Akungba to Ikare road dualisation, the 11.9km Molege–Agunbiade Road in Owo East LCDA, the approval of over 50 township roads across all 18 local government areas, the construction of a 1,000-meter concrete walkway and jetty in Obe-Nla, Ilaje LGA, and the establishment of nine agro-logistics hubs across the three senatorial districts. According to her, these interventions are not only physical developments but also represent a government deeply in tune with the heartbeat of its people.
She concluded with a prayer for continued wisdom and strength for the Governor and his Deputy as they steer Ondo State toward lasting peace, economic revival, and inclusive prosperity. “Your first 100 days have laid a strong foundation for the future. Governance in Ondo State has taken a new direction—one that places people at the center,” she affirmed.
