Ogogo’s Daughter breaks silence After Father’s Surgery, Says Family Is Not Begging for Public Funds

The daughter of veteran Yoruba actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has appreciated Nigerians and fans across the world for their prayers, love and concern following her father’s recent surgery.

In a message shared with the public, Kira expressed gratitude to everyone who had reached out to the family in one way or another, saying the family does not take the outpouring of support for granted.

“Thank you for the love and prayers over our daddy. We do not take any of it for granted, especially everyone that has reached out to us one way or the other. Olorun a gbadura gbogbo wa,” she wrote.

However, Kira also used the opportunity to clarify that the family is not soliciting or begging for public funds to cater for the actor’s medical needs.

She urged well-wishers to continue remembering her father in their prayers, stressing that prayers and goodwill remain deeply appreciated by the family.

“But please, we are not begging for public funds. Kindly continue with your prayers please,” she added.
The clarification comes amid widespread concern among fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry over Ogogo’s health and recovery.

The actor, who has enjoyed a long and celebrated career in the Yoruba movie industry, has continued to receive messages of support from fans and colleagues following reports concerning his health.

Kira’s message is therefore aimed at putting the record straight while appreciating Nigerians for standing with the family during the challenging period.
