No More Boko Haram Flags, No More Mass Bomb Blasts” — Akpabio Hails Tinubu’s Security Record, Says Insecurity Is Now Politically Driven Ahead of 2027
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration over its handling of security in Nigeria.
He said insurgents like Boko Haram are no longer openly controlling territories or hoisting their flags, and that mass bomb attacks have significantly reduced across the country.
Akpabio also claimed that some of the remaining insecurity in Nigeria is being driven by political interests ahead of the 2027 elections.
He called on Nigerians to support ongoing efforts by the Federal Government, National Assembly, and security agencies to completely defeat terrorism and banditry in the country.
