Nigeria @66: ReachOut Nigeria Targets 100m Copies in 20th Anniversary Campaign

ReachOut Nigeria has unveiled an ambitious nationwide campaign to distribute 100 million copies of Rhapsody of Realities across all 774 Local Government Areas of Nigeria as part of activities marking the initiative’s 20th anniversary and the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary.

The October campaign, themed “Celebrating 20 Years of Impact, Taking Rhapsody to Every Man’s World,” is designed to extend the reach of the Christian devotional to Nigerians in cities, towns, villages and underserved communities, while combining the distribution exercise with humanitarian, community-development and outreach programmes.

Organisers said the 20th edition would feature activities across the country, targeting people of different ages and backgrounds, including adults, youths, teenagers, children and Nigerians living with accessibility challenges.

20 YEARS OF IMPACT: MASSIVE CAMPAIGN TO TAKE RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TO EVERY CORNER OF NIGERIA

Twenty years. 100 million copies. 774 Local Government Areas.

ReachOut Nigeria is set to embark on its biggest nationwide campaign yet, targeting the distribution of 100 million copies of Rhapsody of Realities across Nigeria as the country prepares to mark its 66th Independence Anniversary.

The 20th edition of the initiative, themed “Celebrating 20 Years of Impact, Taking Rhapsody to Every Man’s World,” will take the devotional into cities, towns, villages and hinterland communities throughout the country.

The campaign, scheduled for October, is expected to reach Nigerians across age groups and social backgrounds, including adults, youths, teenagers, children and people living with accessibility challenges.

The organisers say the ambitious nationwide drive builds on a movement that began in 2007 with the aim of spreading the Christian message while inspiring hope and encouraging Nigerians to contribute to national development.

Beyond Books

What started as a mass distribution campaign has, over two decades, expanded into a broader programme incorporating humanitarian and community-development projects.

ReachOut Nigeria says its interventions have included potable-water projects, support for schools and libraries, healthcare initiatives, renovations and assistance to public institutions, among other community projects.

For the 2026 edition, organisers plan to provide 200 boreholes in 200 communities, alongside other projects aimed at creating tangible community assets.

1,009 LANGUAGES TARGETED

Language accessibility will be a major feature of this year’s campaign.

The initiative is targeting 1,009 Nigerian languages, with 650 already represented in print, according to the organisers. The publication will also be made available through digital, audio and Braille formats, with additional measures aimed at reaching blind and deaf Nigerians.

Authored by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody of Realities is available in thousands of languages and dialects and in editions designed for adults, teenagers and children.

31 DAYS OF LIVE PROGRAMMING

The October programme will unfold across 10 Dimensions of Impact, including crusades, church growth, community transformation, reading outreaches, street expressions, conferences and exhibitions, concerts, youth and sporting activities, professional outreach and school programmes.

Nigerians are also expected to witness carnivals, floats and processions, community and End-time crusades, school outreaches, concerts and praise experiences.

A National Day of Prayer and 31 consecutive days of the ReachOut Nigeria Live Show are also planned.

The campaign will extend beyond churches and conventional religious venues, with activities and distribution planned for offices, shops, schools, barracks, communities and public transportation systems, including buses, trains and airplanes.

20 YEARS, A NATIONAL FOOTPRINT

A special ReachOut Nigeria Symposium on October 30 will mark the anniversary and spotlight the initiative’s two-decade journey, its community projects, innovations and stories of lives reportedly transformed through the campaign.

The 20th edition represents a major milestone for an initiative that organisers say has remained focused on combining the distribution of the Christian devotional with efforts to inspire community participation and national development.

As Nigeria enters its 66th year of independence, ReachOut Nigeria is putting an unprecedented figure behind its anniversary campaign:

100 million copies. 774 LGAs. One nationwide mission.

Twenty years of impact — taking Rhapsody of Realities to every man’s world.
