NAFDAC Uncovers Suspected Counterfeit Production Facility in Lagos, Arrests Two
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered a suspected counterfeit production facility at Zamfara Plaza, BBA Trade Fair Complex, Lagos State.
Two suspects were reportedly arrested at the scene while allegedly revalidating energy drinks, Bullet drink, popular wine and whisky brands.
The discovery raises concerns about the safety and authenticity of alcoholic and energy drinks being sold to unsuspecting consumers.
Consumers are advised to remain vigilant and purchase beverages from trusted sources while NAFDAC continues its efforts to tackle counterfeit products.
