Most People Forget Where We Were In 2023 & Why The Nation Should Be Grateful To Tinubu- Onanuga
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, has said Nigerians should be grateful to the Tinubu administration for implementing what he described as audacious and necessary economic reforms.

Onanuga made the remarks while reacting to comments by the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise, Muda Yusuf, on the state of the Nigerian economy before President Tinubu assumed office in 2023 and the situation today.
The presidential spokesman said many Nigerians had forgotten the economic challenges facing the country in 2023, arguing that the reforms introduced by the current administration helped prevent a more serious economic crisis.
“Atiku and his ADC should listen to Muda. Most people forget where we were in 2023 and why the nation should be grateful to the Tinubu administration for implementing its audacious and necessary reforms,” Onanuga said.
He warned that Nigeria could have moved towards a situation similar to Zimbabwe’s economic crisis if the reforms had not been implemented.
“Without the reforms, we would have moved towards the Zimbabwe scenario,” he added.
