‘Monthly hazard pay is #1,456?’: An alleged worker in Dangote leaks salary payslip online
An individual claiming to be an employee of Dangote Group has stirred reactions online after allegedly revealing details of his salary structure alongside what was presented as a payslip.
The claims surfaced on X through a post shared by user @UnkleAyo, also known as Salako, who stated that the information was sent anonymously via direct message.
According to the post, the alleged worker disclosed that his total monthly earnings amount to approximately ₦146,351 when allowances and incentives are included.
The salary breakdown reportedly consists of a ₦30,758 basic salary, ₦11,466 housing allowance, ₦5,460 food allowance, ₦5,460 utility allowance, ₦1,456 hazard allowance, ₦9,646 transport allowance, ₦15,925 inflation allowance, and ₦910 laundry allowance.
Additional payments allegedly listed include ₦45,000 for transport support and ₦20,270 as performance incentive.
Beyond the salary details, the individual also made claims regarding working conditions within the company. According to the message, contract staff allegedly do not receive leave benefits and are required to visit multiple outlets daily while being monitored through a tracking application.
The alleged employee further claimed that workers are expected to complete as many as 75 outlet visits weekly as part of their responsibilities.
The post has since sparked mixed reactions across social media, with many users debating the reported salary structure and workload expectations.
However, the claims and figures contained in the viral post have not been independently verified.
