Man Escapes For His Life After Announcing Support For Tinubu, APC Ahead Of 2027

A video currently circulating on social media has captured the moment a man was attacked after openly declaring support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In the viral clip, the incident occurred inside a market, though, the state where it happened can not be verified as at the time of filing this report.

His declaration immediately triggered an angry reaction from some youths in the market, who were seen rushing towards him while shouting him down.

Sensing danger, the man took to his heels and fled the market scene to avoid being hurt as others watch in shock.

The video has sparked heated debate online, with many Nigerians condemning the intolerance for opposing political views.

Others have called on security agencies and political leaders to preach peace as the country gradually moves towards the 2027 polls.

This comes weeks after a similar incident at Monaliza Park, Abuja, where APC praise singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara was booed and forced off stage while performing a pro-Tinubu song on October 1st.

Citizens have been urged to allow free political expression without resorting to violence.
