Man Challenges Governor Eno on Facebook, Gets Invitation to Present Billion-Naira Revenue Proposal
A man identified as Amanisong Naija has attracted attention on social media after a Facebook exchange with Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, over a proposal he claims could generate billions of naira in annual revenue for the state government.

The exchange began after Amanisong Naija reportedly made a Facebook post announcing his relationship with the governor, apparently in an attempt to gain his attention and access to present his ideas.
Governor Eno, who noticed the post, responded directly, asking him to take it down.
“Take this down, Amanisong Naija, Amanisong Naija,” the governor wrote.
However, Amanisong Naija responded by challenging the governor to give him an opportunity to present his proposal, titled “How to Generate Additional Revenue for the State Government.”
“Take what down, Your Excellency! Not until you promise to read my proposal,” he replied.
He further claimed that his proposal contained innovative ideas and demonstrated his capacity to help the state government generate billions of naira annually.
According to him, his ideas were exceptional, insisting that none of the governor’s aides could match his creativity. He also challenged the government to hold him accountable if he failed to demonstrate the potential of his proposal.
“If I cannot prove it, arrest me,” he added.
The governor subsequently responded positively to the man’s confidence, inviting him to present his proposal at the Government House.
“Amanisong Naija, I love your confidence! Bring the proposal to Government House NOW! My office will be expecting you tomorrow by 10AM. Let’s build Akwa Ibom together!” Governor Eno replied.
The exchange has drawn attention to the role social media can play in connecting citizens with public officials and creating opportunities for people to present ideas for governance and economic development.
It remains to be seen what the proposal contains and whether the ideas presented can deliver the additional revenue the man claims is possible for Akwa Ibom State.
