Man arrested for disguising as a woman to visit girlfriend

A young man, Kamaludden Abbas has reportedly been arrested by officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Yobe State for disguising himself as a woman.
It was learnt that Abbas disguised himself as a woman to visit his girlfriend in her father’s house.
He was arrested following a complaint by the young woman’s father, who said he had unknowingly allowed Abbas into his house on several occasions, believing he was his daughter’s female friend.
According to the father, he started suspecting Abbas after observing what he described as unusual behaviour whenever his daughter and the supposed “female visitor” were alone together.
He noted that their time in the room was marked by an eerie silence, punctuated only by movements from within, a pattern he found increasingly troubling.
Worried by the issue, the father said he eventually forced his way into the room to verify what was happening. Following the discovery, the distressed father immediately alerted the security agents.
Operatives of the NSCDC responded swiftly to the report and arrested Abbas at the scene. It was further learnt that the suspect is now facing charges related to sexual misconduct and public indecency.
As of the time of filing this report, the security outfit has not released a statement on the matter, but it is believed that investigation is currently ongoing.
