Legendary defender Sergio Ramos agrees to become Sevilla owner in €450m deal
Sergio Ramos has reportedly reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Sevilla FC, marking a historic transition from legendary defender to club owner.
According to reports from Goal the deal is valued between €444 million and €450 million, effectively handing control of the Andalusian club to a consortium led by Ramos.
The agreement involves the purchase of approximately 80% of the club’s shares currently held by the Carrion, Castro, and Ales families.
Sources indicate that the investment group, which includes Five Eleven Capital and several North American investors, plans to immediately inject between €80 million and €100 million to stabilize the club’s financial standing and boost its competitive spending power in the transfer market.

This takeover is expected to bring a definitive end to the long-standing boardroom battles at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. According to local media, Ramos is slated to eventually succeed José Maria del Nido Carrasco as club president.
