Kumuyi visits palace of Olota of Ota ahead of crusade in Ogun

William Kumuyi, the general overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC), has visited Adeyemi Obalanlege, the Olota of Ota, at the monarch’s palace in Ota, Ogun state.

Kumuyi was accompanied by his wife, senior pastors in DLBC, Ogun west, as well as representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).

The Tuesday courtesy visit to the traditional ruler’s palace was part of the preparation ahead of the global crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), which is scheduled to take place in Ota from August 26 to 30, 2026.

The crusade, themed: ‘Total Transformation with Christ’, will take place at the Anglican Grammar School, Ota, Ogun.

Speaking with journalists at the monarch’s palace, Kumuyi said the GCK crusade has recorded testimonies of people across the world whose lives and families had been transformed

The cleric said God laid it to his heart that this is the time for the GCK train to come to Ogun state, adding that the ministry will pray for Nigeria’s peace and progress.

“Why have we chosen Ogun state? Because the Lord laid it to my heart that this is the time of Ogun state,” Kumuyi said.

“This is the desire of every citizen. We want peace, security, and progress in our land. We are praying that God will answer our prayers and give us all the security that we need in our country.

“Here we are today. We are still looking up to God to make a great change and transform in every life that comes. The sick will be healed and those who have challenges, the Lord will restore them.”

Kumuyi said the GCK medical team will provide free medical services during the programme.

On his part, Obalanlege welcomed Kumuyi and his delegation to the town, saying that he believes that the crusade would transform lives and contribute to peace in Ota.

“I believe the Lord is with us here in Ota land, and I believe a lot of lives will be transformed. When lives are transformed, it means Ota will become more peaceful,” the monarch said.

Also speaking, Joseph Fasanmi, Ogun west overseer of DLBC, said Kumuyi’s visit to the state will bring about total transformation of lives.
