Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has shared an emotional prayer amid his ongoing health struggles, asking God to take him whenever his time comes rather than allow him to become a burden to those around him.
The actor also revealed that walking has become difficult for him and that he sometimes experiences swelling in different parts of his body.

The legendary actor, while speaking about his condition, said he does not want to become a burden to the people around him.

 

 

 

 

Edochie, however, maintained that he still has hope of recovering despite the challenges he is currently facing.

He revealed that walking has become difficult for him and that different parts of his body sometimes become swollen before the swelling eventually goes down.

Speaking about his health, the veteran actor said:

“I’m not very well. I’m not walking, that is a problem for me now, but I still have hope that I will recover myself. Sometimes, parts of my body become swollen, but after some time, the swelling goes down.

“I ask God, the Author of life, whenever You feel it’s time for me to go, just take me. Don’t let me become a burden to the people around me. Just take me.”

His emotional words have since sparked reactions online, with fans and well-wishers praying for the veteran actor and wishing him recovery.
