JUST IN: Recent Abdvction of school children is engineered as a narrative of Christian genoc!de _ Sheikh Gumi

Controversial Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has reacted to the recent rise in school children abduction.

In a post on Facebook , he stated that the recent surge in school children k!dnappings in Nigeria is engineered to serve an unpatriotic narrative of ‘Christian genocide’, but regrettably, Muslim children are also being k!dnapped. He likened the insecurity in Nigeria to a burning candle, saying it will burn out, Allah willing.

His statement comes amidst the abduction of 52 students from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Niger State, which is the most recent case, and the earlier k!dnapping of 25 schoolgirls from a boarding school in Kebbi State.

The incidents have sparked widespread concern and outrage across the country, with many calling for increased efforts to address the security challenges facing Nigeria.

He wrote, “The recent increase in spate of school children kidnappings are engineered to serve an unpatriotic narration of ‘Christian genocide’, and sadly for all, also Muslim children are k!dnapped.”
