JUST IN: Former PDP Chairman Is Dead
Victor Bala Kona, a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, has passed away. He breathed his last in the early hours of Sunday in Abuja following a brief illness.
A press release from Emmanuel Bello, the media aide to Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State, confirmed the passing of Bala Kona and expressed the sorrow felt over his departure.
The statement recognized him not only as a political figure but also as a father and devoted family man. Bala Kona’s significance in history is secure and will always be held in high esteem.
His demise comes at a time when his extensive experience and knowledge are most dearly needed.
Governor Agbu Kefas conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Bala Kona’s family and all those affected by this profound and irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the PDP in the state, Andeta’rang Irammae, released a statement expressing the party’s grief over the news of the former Chairman’s passing and offering prayers for his soul.
The deceased had served as the Chairman of the party from March 2012 to August 2020. During his tenure, he tirelessly contributed to the party’s growth and its consistent leadership presence in the state.
