JUST IN : Ex-Gov El-Rufai Pushes Elderly Mother on Wheelchair as They Perform Lesser Hajj in Mecca
According to a media post by Honourable Nuhu Sada, Media Aide to the former Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai was seen on Thursday, 11 December 2025, attending to his elderly mother during their spiritual journey in Madinatul Munawwara.
El-Rufai was photographed pushing his mother in a wheelchair as they performed the Lesser Hajj (Umrah), one of Islam’s sacred acts of worship.
The gesture has drawn admiration for its demonstration of humility, respect, and care for parents.
El-Rufai and his mother will spend a few days in the holy cities as they continue the rites of Umrah in Mecca, engaging in prayers, reflection, and other spiritual activities.
