INEC Excludes Isa Pantami from Final List of Gombe Governorship Candidates

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reportedly excluded Professor Isa Ali Pantami, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Gombe State, from its final list of governorship candidates.
According to a report by Plateau News Updates, Pantami’s name is missing from the list of candidates released by INEC for the Gombe State governorship election, despite his recent victory in a fresh PDP governorship primary.
The development has raised questions about the status of Pantami’s candidacy and the circumstances surrounding his omission from the commission’s published list.
Pantami had reportedly emerged as the PDP’s candidate following a fresh primary election. However, his absence from the final list has created uncertainty over his participation in the forthcoming governorship election.
As of the time of this report, the specific reason for the omission has not been established. Further clarification from INEC and the PDP is expected to shed light on the development.
