‘I used to be a Christian but I converted to a Muslim’: Grammy Award winner Burna Boy discloses
Grammy Award winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, gets social media abuzz following his choice of religion.
Burna Boy, the “Ye” crooner, disclosed that he was born a Christian but has converted to being a muslim.
The singer made this known while featuring as a guest on the US streamer, PlaqueBoyMax’s Twitch live session.
This comes after Burna Boy made it known to all and sundry that Fela is the only Afrobeats artiste who is greater than him.
According to Burna Boy, he was born into the Christian Religion and he embraced it because his parents were Christians.
Moving forward, Burna Boy who is now a global singer, uttered that he conducted research while growing up and by extension, found Islam.
Burna stressed that he effortlessly accepted the Islamic religion, leaving the Christian religion behind while he continues to research life.
US streamer PlaqueBoyMax was shocked after finding out that Burna Boy has converted to Islam, even though he was born a Christian.
