I told Jesus to give me power to raise the dead…” – Apostle Arome Osayi recounts strange encounter at Tanzania beach

Apostle Arome Osayi has described a purported paranormal experience he had on a Tanzanian beach with Jesus.

Speaking at a church service, Osayi said that he asked for the ability to raise the dead and reverse autism after Jesus appeared to him and stood next to him.

The cleric claims that in exchange for the powers, Jesus told him to give a pastor ₦5 million.

“I met Jesus at a Tanzania beach, and Jesus came and stood by my side, and I told him to give me the power to raise the dead and the power to reverse autism, and Jesus told me to send ₦5 million to a pastor in exchange for the powers,” he said.

Osayi added that an angel touched his head during his subsequent ministry, which happened on a Sunday nite.

He claimed that after the encounter, five people started to walk.

“On my next ministration, which was on a Sunday night, an angel touched me on my head; after that, five people started walking,” he added.

The narrative coincides with the cleric’s recent remarks regarding Nigeria’s national calling drawing fresh attention.

While contrasting Nigeria’s emphasis on prayer with China’s accomplishments in manufacturing and technology, Osayi contended that the country’s calling is spiritual revival. Since then, his comments have drawn criticism and generated discussion on the internet.
