‘I made mistakes’ — Fido apologises after dispute with ex-label

Fido, the Nigerian singer, has apologised for “messing up” — a few months after accusing his former label.Inner Circle Entertainment of financial mismanagement.

In August 2025, the ‘Joy Is Coming’ hitmaker alleged that the label withheld 95% of the $20,000 advance for his hit single ‘Awolowo’, claiming he received only about N1.5 million.

In March last year, he had also stirred controversy after insisting that no one discovered him, maintaining that he built his career independently with God’s guidance.
