Nollywood actor Yul Edochie publicly disagreed with Pastor Paul Enenche over the clergyman’s teachings against African traditional practices.
The disagreement erupted on social media after Dr. Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, shared a video message titled “The Divine Nature of the Blessing” with a caption instructing believers to shun the devil and warning that traditional African practices are fetish.
“You can’t come to church on Sunday and visit the Baba lawo on Monday. It is not possible to follow dark practices and expect to be blessed’ Enenche said, adding that some people who are still spending money in the village for local traditional festivals – this is darkness and you’re wondering why you’re not blessed.
