Bimbo Oshin, Peterson Okopi, Woli Agba were among the celebrities present at the night of tributes held in honour of late gospel singer Toluwanisings.

At the event held on Tuesday at Jogor Centre, Ibadan, Oyo state, family, friends and colleagues gathered to honor the memory of the late singer.
Delivering her tribute, Oshin expressed sadness over Toluwanisings’ passing, adding that she believed he was now singing along with the angels.
“It is sad. Toluwanisings, we love you. I know you are with your maker, I know you are singing with the angels. May God rest your precious soul,” he said.
Okopi, in his tribute, described the late singer as a joyful person who made everyone around him feel special.
“We were blessed with a brother, friend and family who knew how to make everyone feel special. Toluwani never segregates, he is always bubbly and happy. Anytime you see Toluwani, he just pours joy on you,” he added.
Akanbi Elizabeth, the singer’s widow, also struggled to deliver her tribute before weeping profusely.
“Toluwanisings, my dear husband. I will forever miss you. Please do not forget your children and I,” she said.
Several gospel artistes attended the event, including Esther Igbekele, Laolu Gbenjo, Akintayo Akinwande, and SB Live.
Bidemi Olaoba, Mr Gbera, and Sarah Apekeola were also among those present.
The singer, known for his hit song ‘A Very Big God’, died on October 14. The cause of his death has not been established.
Lawal Ademola Rauf, the singer’s paternal uncle, had earlier called for his burial to be postponed pending an investigation into the cause of his death.
Babadunni Gbolabo, the singer’s personal assistant, also recounted his final moments.
He said Toluwanisings was “fine and in perfect condition” before he suddenly slumped.
He said attempts were made to resuscitate the singer, who was taken to eight hospitals in Ibadan, Oyo state, but they all refused to admit him, giving various reasons.
