How ADC Is Unknowingly Setting Itself Up For Downfall Against President Tinubu–Emma Umeh
I realized that on the timeline while President Tinubu is busy fixing his campaign structures, putting his campaign team together, reaching out to opposition leaders, business communities and everyone and anybody he can reach out to, opposition members who should be finding ways to work together when even their leaders have agreed to work together, are busy attacking themselves on the timeline.
Virtually, every social media platform, whether it is Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, they are attacking themselves.
Atiku’s supporters are busy attacking Obi supporters, Obi supporters are busy attacking Atiku’s supporters.
This is what we have seen in the last few months, and even now that Peter Obi has agreed to go into the ADC, you will naturally expect that there should be a bit of calm wherein the supporters on both camps will say “let’s even give the process a chance and let’s see how we can work together”, rather they are busy attacking themselves. You go on spaces, you see Peter Obi supporters attacking Atiku supporters, Atiku supporters are attacking Peter Obi supporters.
This is what you see on most spaces, everyday so far, and it’s been going on and on, and they are busy diminishing their chances of winning, because when you keep attacking yourselves, at the end of the day you only end up aggravating the injury, and it makes it even more difficult for each camp to support whoever emerges as Presidential candidate of the party.
It is because even more evident that as of today, I personally feel that President Tinubu will win the election if the election happens today because of the heavy disunity among the opposition party supporters.
There is so much mutual distrust and suspicion among themselves.
If anything is going to ever happen, if they are even going to ever have a chance of defeating Tinubu, because Tinubu is building a massive structure for himself, the opposition members have to find a way to work together with themselves.
Unity is the only key. If you are busy going on TV to slander another fellow opposition, you are not going to be helping matters for the opposition, after all.
For me, I think unity is the key, if at all they will be having a good chance to defeat President Tinubu, but with what I am seeing on the timeline, I honestly think it is President Tinubu’s election to lose, and that is my own opinion, and I wish ADC all the best.
I am not a member of ADC or any political party. I need to set the record straight like this before some people will start reaching out with certain narratives.
I am just saying my truth and I am saying what I have observed. If they are ever going to have a chance to defeat Tinubu, the supporters must have to work together, if not, we can kiss 2027 elections goodbye, and this is just my own personal opinion.
