Hon Moruf Tosin Seeks Royal Blessings Ahead of House of Representatives Primaries

Ikare Akoko, Ondo State Hon. Moruf Tosin, popularly known as Hon Murphy, continued his grassroots consultations with traditional institutions as he paid a royal visit to the palace of the Olukare of Ikare Akoko, His Imperial Majesty Oba Saliu Akadri Adekadejo Momoh IV, JP, CON, CFR.

The aspirant for the Akoko North West Constituency II seat in the House of Representatives was warmly welcomed by the Olukare and his council of chiefs. The visit was aimed at seeking fatherly prayers and royal blessings ahead of the forthcoming primaries.

During the interactive session, Hon Murphy expressed his deep appreciation for the longstanding relationship between Ikare Akoko and the other towns in the constituency. He stated:

> “Ikare Akoko and all the towns in Akoko North West Constituency II Ogbagi, Irun, Ese, and Afin have been close friends for a very long time. This bond dates back to the days of the late Hon Falade in Irun and Chief Umar Korobo, the late Oluko. I plead that this love should continue and that you extend your support to me.”

Hon Murphy received the heartfelt blessings and prayers of the Olukare (Kabiyesi), who prayed for his success, protection, and victory at the primaries. The royal father and his chiefs assured him of their fatherly support while urging him to remain committed to the development of the constituency.

The visit forms part of Hon Murphy’s wider tour to traditional rulers across Akoko North Federal Constituency as he seeks divine guidance and community endorsement for his ambition to represent the people at the House of Representatives.
