Gunmen Invade Church, Abdvct Five Worshippers.
Five persons have been reportedly kidnapped following an attack on a church in Uso in the Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Uso, a community situated along the Akure–Owo highway, was thrown into panic on Tuesday when suspected kidnappers stormed a church during a service activity and abducted five worshippers
Sources within the community disclosed that the assailants invaded the church premises and whisked the victims away to an unknown destination. One of the abducted worshippers was, however, said to have escaped from the captors shortly after the incident.
As of the time of filing this report, details surrounding the attack, including the identity of the church and the current condition of the victims, remained unclear.
Efforts to reach security authorities for official confirmation were ongoing.
