Gunmen Attack missionary Students Returning from Evangelism in Jos; Victims Escape with Injuries.
3 missionary students of TCNN Bukuru, Jos identified as Joshua Ata Danlami and another student known as “Brother Pius” were reportedly attacked by unknown gunmen while returning from an evangelism outing on April 8, 2026.
According to available information, the incident occurred in Jos, Plateau State, as the students made their way back from their religious outreach. The attackers opened fire, causing panic and leaving the victims with varying degrees of injuries.
Fortunately, no lives were lost in the attack. Both missionary students managed to escape, sustaining only injuries, and are said to be receiving care.
The incident has raised fresh concerns over security in Plateau State, as residents continue to call for strengthened safety measures across the region.
