Guπmen kill my pregnant sister inside labour room to give birth” – Survivor narrates

Daniel Nanle, a resident of Kawel community in Mushere District, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, has recounted how his younger sister was k!lled during an att@ck on a Primary Health Centre in the area.

Gunmen reportedly att@cked the community on Sunday night while residents were asleep, k!lling 22 people, including health workers, security personnel, and patients receiving treatment at the health facility.

Speaking during a visit by the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Ngo Josephine Chundung Piyo, who came to sympathize with victims of the att@ck, Nanle told Daily Trust that his sister, Larai Danjuma, had been taken to the hospital after going into labour.

According to him, she was admitted to the labour ward to give birth, but the att@ckers stormed the facility and k!lled her along with other patients and health workers.

“My immediate sister was married to Mr. Danjuma Damial. She was taken to the hospital because she was due for delivery. Unfortunately, the att@ckers came and k!lled her,” he said.

Nanle appealed to both the state and federal governments to take urgent steps to prevent similar atta@cks from happening again.

“I am appealing to the state government and the Federal Government to intervene,” he said.
