He dismissed speculations that the removal of Abdullahi Ganduje as APC National Chairman was orchestrated to pave the way for Kwankwaso’s entry into the ruling party.
According to Galadima, though multiple parties—including the APC, PDP, and the newly formed coalition—have approached Kwankwaso with the hope of winning him over, the former minister has remained resolute in his loyalty to the NNPP.
“There have been rumours that Ganduje’s resignation or removal was to make room for Kwankwaso in the APC, but there is no proof whatsoever to support that claim. Even the viral image of Kwankwaso holding an APC membership card is baseless. These are clear attempts to create confusion,” Galadima stated.
He stressed that Kwankwaso’s strategy is deliberate and that he would stay within the NNPP until official political campaigns begin.
Galadima also dismissed claims of internal discord within the NNPP, asserting that only one legally recognised leadership exists within the party.
“Elections were held in Ondo and another is coming up in Anambra. Which party logo is INEC using? It’s the same NNPP. There’s only one legitimate faction,” he concluded.
