years in teaching experience at University level.
The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) points of PG
students supervised.
Academic Librarians shall participate in postgraduate
teaching and supervision in the Department of Library
Science.
Considerable background of research with a minimum of
admissible publications totaling not less than seventy-five
(75) points.

(v) Must score five (5) points in Academic
Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities.

(vi) | Mustscore three (3) points in Community Service.

(vii) Must be an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies.

(viii) Must score forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal.

Reader / Reader Librarian (CONUASS 6)

In all cases, the staff being recommended to the rank of Reader/Reader

Librarian/Principal Research Fellow should have his/her area of

specialization properly stated.

(i) APhD holder or its equivalent with a minimum of six (6) years
in Teaching/Library experience at the University level

(ii) The candidate must have a minimum of two (2) points of PG
students supervised

(iii) | Academic Librarians shall participate in postgraduate
teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science

(iv) | Considerable background of research with a minimum of
admissible publications totaling not less than sixty (60) points.

(v) Must score four (4) points in Academic

Must score three (3) points in Academic

Candidate must be an up-to-date member of professional
body/bodies with minimum number of publications not less
than nine (9).

citation not less than 10.

Lecturer I/ Librarian I(CONUASS 4)

i) A Ph.D. or its equivalent holder who has been Lecturer
If/Librarian II for three years in addition to admissible
publications totaling not less than Twenty-five (25) points and
forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal. Minimum number of
publication not less than five (5).

PhD holder in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine and
Veterinary Medicine or Fellowship in Medicine and registered
with MDCN or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN).

A Master Degree holder who has been Lecturer II/Librarian II
for three years in addition to admissible publications totaling
not less than Thirty (30) points, Citation not less than five (5)
and Forty-Five (45) points in Job Appraisal. Candidate must be
an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies with
minimum number of publications not less than six (6).

iv) Must score two (2) points in Academic
Leadership/Administrative Responsibility

v) Must be visible on Google Scholar or Research Gate with
citation not less than 5.

A successful applicant coming to take up teaching appointment in the

University for the first time can enter at not more than the rank of

Lecturer I.

Lecturer II/ Librarian IIT (CONUASS 3)

A holder of PhD or equivalent qualification recognized by Federal
University Oye-Ekiti. Has been Assistant Lecturer/Assistant
Librarian in the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, or any other University

than Fifteen (15) points for M.Sc. and Ten (10) points for Ph.D. Citation
not less than two (2) Forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal.

A holder of LL. B Degree with at least Second-Class Lower Division
plus BL plus LL.M. A holder of MBBS/DVM, B. Eng. plus COREN,
M.Sc. Agric, M. Tech. M. Eng. Staff in Clinical Department who has
passed the part I Fellowship without prejudice to the basic requirement
should be qualified. Must be visible on Google Scholar or Research
Gate with citation not less than 2.

Assistant Lecturer /Assistant Librarian
A holder of a Master Degree of Federal University Oye-Ekiti or any
other recognized Institution.

Holders of LL.B Degree with at least Second Class Upper Division in
addition to BL or Holders of LL.B Degree with at least Second Class
Upper Division in addition to LL.M.

Holders of B. Agric, B. Eng., B.Tech., B. Sc. Eng. with at least Second-
Class Upper Division. Evidence of registration on Google Scholar or its
equivalent.

Graduate Assistant / Graduate Librarian

A holder of a First Degree of Federal University Oye-Ekiti or any other
recognized Institution at performance level not below Second-Class
Upper Division including NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption
