FRSC arrests suspected ‘One-chance’ operatives in Oyo

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has arrested suspected members of a phone-theft and ‘one-chance’ syndicate along the Eleyele–Ojoo corridor in Ibadan, Oyo State.

FRSC patrol operatives on routine duty intercepted the suspects after observing a motorcycle rider pursuing a Nissan Micra.

A female passenger in the vehicle raised an alarm, reporting that her phone had been stolen.

The Corps swiftly responded, arrested the suspects, and recovered the stolen phone.

The case has been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Eleyele Division, for further investigation and prosecution.

The FRSC noted that the incident underscores the importance of vigilance among its patrol teams in enhancing road safety and supporting security efforts.
