From Gr!ef to Grace: Man who l0st wife, six children remarries at Kano mass wedding 

Haruna Bashir was among 1,500 couples joined in matrimony at a mass wedding organised by the Kano State Government on Friday.

The ceremony marked a new beginning for Bashir, who lost his wife, Fatima Abubakar, and six children in a tragic incident at their home in Chiranchi, Dorayi, on January 17.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf had earlier visited him, promising a new house, welfare support, Hajj sponsorship and assistance to remarry. Bashir also donated his former home for conversion into an Islamiyya school.
