Former House of Assembly member dies

A former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Abdulganiyu Oseni, is dead.

The news of his demise was announced on Tuesday.

Oseni represented Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency in the 8th Assembly during the administration of the immediate past governor of the state, late Abiola Ajimobi.

He won the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A close source to his family, who begged not to be named, confirmed the death of the former lawmaker to journalists on Tuesday.

It was learnt that the former lawmaker had been sick for a while.

Details about his death are still sketchy as at the time of filing this report on Tuesday.
