FG set to Revive Kaduna Textile Limited to Boost Industrialisation — Akume

The Federal Government has announced plans to revive the defunct Kaduna Textile Limited as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s economy through industrialisation.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, disclosed this on Tuesday in Kaduna during a two-day government-citizen engagement session.

Akume, who led a delegation of northern appointees of President Bola Tinubu, said the administration is focused on rejuvenating key industries to drive national development.

“We intend to revisit the good old days of Kaduna Textile to boost and solidify the economy,” he said, adding that Tinubu’s government is working across eight key areas to ensure holistic growth.

He noted that in just over two years, the Tinubu administration has made significant strides in industrialisation and economic diversification.
