FBI Unveils 24-Hour Intelligence Centre, Cuts Information-Sharing Time To Under One Minute

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has established a new intelligence centre designed to monitor critical incidents and emerging security threats around the clock.

The FBI’s new Director’s Strategic Information Center (DSIC) will provide 24-hour monitoring of security developments and improve the speed at which intelligence is shared across the agency.

Announcing the development, FBI Director Kash Patel said information that previously took hours to circulate could now be shared in less than one minute.

He described the initiative as a major step towards improving the bureau’s ability to identify threats and coordinate rapid responses.

“Intelligence that once took HOURS to share now takes UNDER ONE MINUTE.

“No delays. No excuses. No letting threats get ahead of us,” Patel said.

He added that the centre would strengthen the FBI’s operational efficiency through faster intelligence gathering, information-sharing and response coordination.

Patel said the initiative reflected the bureau’s commitment to building a more responsive security system capable of keeping pace with emerging threats.
“Faster intelligence. Faster response. A relentless FBI,” he said.
