Ex-US Government, Naval Personnel Oyebade Invites Olusola Oke, Agboola Ajayi as Adetimehin Confirms August 30 Return to APC

Former United States Government and Naval Personnel, Dr. Adeniran Oyebade, has extended an invitation to former Ondo State governorship aspirants, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, and Hon. Agboola Ajayi, to join other political leaders and stakeholders in receiving him as he formally returns to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on August 30, 2026.

The development comes as the APC leadership in Ondo State continues to witness renewed political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Oyebade, a former adviser in the Obama Administration, is expected to officially announce his return to the APC at a gathering scheduled for August 30, where prominent political leaders, supporters, friends and associates are expected to receive him.

The former Director General of the Olusola Oke Campaign Organization also specifically invited his former principal, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, to be part of the leaders expected at the event.

In extending the invitation, Oyebade described Oke as his boss and a respected political figure whose presence would add significance to the occasion.

He also acknowledged the leadership role of former Deputy Governor of Ondo State and former governorship candidate, Agboola Ajayi, describing him as his leader.

“Agboola Ajayi is my leader,” Oyebade reportedly stated, stressing that his political relationships cut across different tendencies and personalities within the state.

Oyebade has repeatedly clarified that his decision to return to the APC is based on his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and should not be interpreted as an alignment with any particular political camp in Ondo State.

His return is therefore expected to attract attention across the state’s political landscape, particularly as several political actors and groups continue to position themselves ahead of the 2027 elections.

The August 30 gathering is expected to provide an opportunity for Oyebade to formally reconnect with the APC and interact with political leaders, including former allies and associates from different political backgrounds.
With the confirmation of attendance by former ondo APC State Chairman Engr. Ade Adetimehin, alongside invitations extended to prominent figures such as Olusola Oke and Agboola Ajayi, the event is shaping up to be a significant political gathering in Ondo State.
