Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao has revealed the financial difficulties she encountered after producing a cinema film.
In an interview, Ajao disclosed that she had to sell personal assets, including cars and land, to finance the project. She added that actor Odunlade Adekola also provided support during the production process.
Despite the significant investment, she said the film generated minimal returns, raising concerns about the role of marketers within the industry.
Ajao expressed frustration over the experience, noting that many producers face similar challenges in recouping production costs after their films are released.
