El-Rufai’s Wife Reacts To Claim That Sani Begged El-Rufai’s Wives Before He Was Considered As Gov

Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, the wife of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has reacted to claim that the governor of Kaduna state, Uba Sani begged El-Rufai’s wives before he was considered.

The reaction of Hadiza Isma El-Rufai was contained in a post that she shared on her official X handle on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Her statement is coming after Bashir El-Rufai said Uba Sani visited houses of El-Rufai’s wives to beg them for support.

Here is what Bashir El-Rufai wrote on his official X handle;

“That one went lobbying and begging the wives of the governor. Literally, on bent knees in one of my stepmother’s houses to put in a good word of support into their husband’s ears. Continued and lobbied the governor’s older brother”.

However, Hadiza Isma El-Rufai has now shared her thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that she shared on her official X handle, she said it didn’t happen in her own case.
