MESSAGE OF HOPE
Dear brothers and sisters in Owo-Ose Federal Constituency, Ondo State, and the entire Muslim Ummah, Happy Eid Mubarak!
Today, as the crescent moon heralds the joyous occasion of Eid, we are reminded of the profound essence of this blessed season — a time of spiritual renewal, boundless mercy, sacrifice, gratitude, and unbreakable unity. Eid is not merely a celebration of the end of fasting; it is a divine call to reflect on Taqwa (God-consciousness), to share our blessings with the less privileged, to forgive one another, and to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood that holds us together.
As Allah (SWT) teaches us in the Glorious Qur’an:
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.” (Surah Al-Imran 3:103).
We also celebrate our children today. They are the salt of the earth and the pride of our nation. Today’s children’s day is special and unique. Therefore, may the blessings of this season abide bountifully with them.
This season calls us to emulate the spirit of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), who said:
“The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds with wakefulness and fever.” (Bukhari and Muslim).
In the spirit of this sacred teaching, GRA and the leader of TAP, has continued to extend hands of fellowship across Owo-Ose Federal Constituency and Ondo State at large — reaching out to our revered leaders, respected Imams, traditional rulers, youth, women, and all people of goodwill. True leadership is service, compassion, and unity, and it is his solemn commitment to foster this harmony so that our people and state may prosper in peace and progress.
The unprecedented votes and massive support, the good people of Owo-Ose, gave in the last election reaffirmed one clear truth: This is the deserved leadership the people have chosen.A leadership rooted in character, dedication, and genuine love for the people. Ghani Rotimi Arobo remains deeply grateful and more determined than ever to justify this trust.
As we slaughter our rams, share meals with neighbors, and open our hearts in prayer, let us recommit ourselves to the values of Eid — love, generosity, tolerance, and collective advancement. Let this season heal divisions, uplift the vulnerable, and propel us towards a brighter future for our children and generations yet unborn.
May the Almighty Allah accept our ibadah, forgive our shortcomings, shower His infinite mercy upon us, and grant us peace, good health, and abundant blessings.
Eid Mubarak once again!
