Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, the APC PCC Co- Cordinator for South East Zone and the National Vice Chairman South East, All Progresive Congress has extolled the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s public commendation of the Imo State Governor at the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja.
During the inauguration ceremony, President Tinubu specifically thanked and praised Governor Uzodinma, stating:
“I thank the Council Secretary and the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Governor Hope Uzodinma, for all the commendable things he has done.”
The President went further to emphasise the importance of trust and continuous delivery, declaring that he does not take the confidence reposed in him lightly and is determined to keep earning it. He also acknowledged the counsel from Gov. Hope, not to allow the rigours of the campaign to distract from governance, affirming full agreement that “Nigeria needs more attention now than ever before.”
Reacting to the President’s remarks, Dr. Arodiogbu described the public commendation as a well-deserved recognition of Governor Uzodinma’s outstanding contributions to the party, progressive governance, and national development.
“President Tinubu’s open appreciation of Governor Hope Uzodinma at the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council is a clear validation of the Governor’s commitment, loyalty, and delivery,” Dr. Arodiogbu stated.
“As Council Secretary and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Governor Uzodinma has consistently demonstrated capacity, unity of purpose, and a deep sense of responsibility to both the party and the Nigerian people. I wholeheartedly extol him for these commendable attributes that the President has publicly acknowledged.”
Dr. Arodiogbu noted that the President’s words underscore the value placed on performance and team spirit within the APC family. He urged other party leaders and stakeholders to emulate Governor Uzodinma’s example of diligent service and constructive engagement as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The APC Presidential Campaign Council, chaired by President Tinubu with Governor Uzodinma serving as Secretary, was formally inaugurated to coordinate the party’s nationwide mobilisation and re-election efforts.
