Denmark govt launches website for foreigners to apply for job, relocate

The website currently features almost 2,000 job vacancies.

The Danish government has launched an official website aimed at helping foreigners apply for jobs and relocate to the country.
The government announced the development, offering a direct route into the Danish job market without the need for recruitment agencies or embassy channels.
The website, Work in Denmark, currently features almost 2,000 job vacancies from a wide range of Danish companies.
While providing access to more than 1,000 EURES advisers, who are professionals available to assist job seekers navigating cross-border employment in Europe, the platform also features details of 13 upcoming job fairs where candidates can meet prospective employers in person.
Checks on the website on Saturday showed that applicants can search for available positions by entering a keyword or job title, after which the website generates a list of relevant openings that match their professional backgrounds.
Applicants will then be directed to submit their CVs and other relevant qualifications directly to the companies advertising on the site once suitable roles have been identified.
Through this process, applicants can assess their qualifications against available openings while communicating directly with employers rather than through intermediaries.
The website emerged as a deliberate initiative by Denmark to improve access to job opportunities, especially for skilled foreign professionals.
Beyond being easy to navigate, the platform removes the cumbersome traditional barriers associated with international job searches.
