Genesis 19:26 KJV.
“But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”

*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ When God was to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, for their sins; He made his intention known to Abraham.
☆☆☆.Abraham now pleaded with God for mercy because of his brother, Lot. He pleaded with God to spare that city if he could find ten righteous people. Read Genesis 18:32.
☆☆☆ Ten righteous people couldn’t be found but the angel of the Lord spared Lot, his wife and two daughters.
☆☆☆ They were sent away from Sodom and Gomorrah before destroying the two cities.
☆☆☆ The angels of God however warned them never to look back.

☆☆☆ Shortly after they left, Lot’s wife remembered her treasures, her jewelries, her designer shoes and bags which she had left behind in Sodom and Gomorrah. She looked back and became a pillar of salt.

☆☆☆ Beloved, salt is good but what is the usefulness of a pillar of salt in the land that God was set to destroy!
☆☆☆ Any time you are still thinking about your past which God has delivered you from, you are on your way back to bondage.

☆☆☆ Beloved, your past has nothing good to offer except stagnation. Delete it. Whenever you think about your past which God wants you to forget, you are looking back. Delete it.
☆☆☆ No one who is busy looking back can have a successful forward movement.
☆☆☆ The bible says👇
“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God” – Luke 9:62.

☆☆☆ Beloved, have you have stopped smoking but each time you see people smoking, you still remember the ‘good old days’ and you are being tempted to join them? Delete that memory of your past.
☆☆☆ If not, you will soon begin to smoke once again beloved. It’s just a matter of time.
☆☆☆ God has delivered you from the bondage of adultery and fornication but you are still engrossed in watching pornographic pictures and videos. You are still living in Sodom and Gomorrah my dear. Please delete it.
☆☆☆ God delivered you from the spirit of stealing but you still love ostentatious life which you cannot afford. You will soon find yourself back in Sodom and Gomorrah. Delete it.
☆☆☆ My final counsel which I will leave with every reader of this message is found in Hebrews 12:2👇

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

☆☆☆ Look up unto Jesus brother and you will have no reason to look back anymore.

*PRAYERS*
1. Father, uproot from my life today whatever can take me back to the past.
2. I delete from my life every memory of the past.
3. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to unconsciously prefer a life of bondage to a life of freedom.
4. My father and my God, please keep me focused on my goal.
5. I refuse to be derailed by the side attractions of life in Jesus name.
6. I cast aside every Babylonian garment that can tie me down in captivity.
7. I will not be attracted by the cucumber of Egypt.
8. Please Lord, let my love for you be far above the love for the things of this world.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for you today and I decree, you will never go back to Egypt.
The treasures of this world will not draw you back.
In the place of destiny fulfillment, may you not be found wanting.
I decree and declare, the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah will not separate you from your mountain top life that God has prepared for you.
May you not look back on the day of your joy in Jesus mighty name.
I pray for a particular individual out there, the devil will not succeed to destabilize your family in Jesus name.
I uproot every seed of discord and disharmony planted by the devil in your family.
Finally I decree, whatever can take you back to Egypt, shall the Lord delete from your life today in Jesus name.
