Three separate deaths, five years apart, have drawn public attention because of one recurring detail: the Turkish Hospital in Abuja.

Ebonyi State Commissioner for Housing, Uche Okah, died after reportedly receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness at a Turkish hospital in Abuja.
Governor David Umahi, then Governor of Ebonyi State, described her as a dependable ally and condoled with her family.

Ebonyi State Commissioner for Infrastructure and Concession, Engr. Fidelis Kings Nweze, died at the Turkish Hospital in Abuja.
Announcing the news, Governor Umahi described him as a younger brother, friend, and “destiny helper,” saying his death was a great loss to the administration.

Mary Habila died at the residence of the Minister of Works, David Umahi, in Uburu, Ebonyi State.
According to Umahi, Habila had worked closely with him for about three years and was like a daughter to him. He also stated that she had been receiving treatment for an existing health condition at a Turkish hospital in Abuja and that he personally paid her medical bills.
