Dangote, Tanzania strengthen investment partnership
President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has held talks with the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, on expanding the company’s investments in the East African nation.
The meeting, held at the State House in Dar es Salaam, focused on investment opportunities in transport infrastructure, domestic fertiliser production and the energy sector.
The discussions underscored a shared commitment to accelerating industrialisation, creating sustainable employment opportunities and strengthening regional economic integration through strategic public-private collaboration.
Both parties also reaffirmed the importance of deeper partnerships between African governments and the private sector to unlock investment, expand productive capacity and drive long-term economic transformation across the continent.
