YOU ARE DENIED DEVIL – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
*TEXT*
Acts 24:25 KJV.
“And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.”
☆☆☆ Paul was arrested for preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
☆☆☆ He was now brought before governor Felix for trial.
☆☆☆ He was given the right to defend himself concerning his faith in Christ: 👇
“And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ” – Acts 24:24.
☆☆☆ Paul was an erudite lawyer and he must have confused Felix in his defence.
☆☆☆ Felix had to adjourn the case till “when I have a convenient season…”
☆☆☆ Beloved, the enemy is always waiting for “a convenient season” to carry out his evil and demonic assignments.
☆☆☆ The devil and his agents are always looking and waiting for the convenient time when all their evil plans would be total.
☆☆☆ When you read the story of the affliction of Job, the devil waited for “a convenient season” when all his children were gathered together in one place, to strike 👇
“While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house”:
[19] “And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee” – Job 1:18-19.
■■■ I heard a pathetic story of a couple who went, with all the three children, to attend the wedding of a family relation. After the program, the driver was instructed to drop the children at home so that they could have some time to rest and prepare for school the next day. On their way home, the car ran under a truck and all the three children were killed.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the enemy waited for “a convenient season” to erase the future of that family.
■■■ There was this other story of a whole family of seven: Husband, wife and five children: They were travelling and their car had an accident, the entire family was killed.
☆☆☆ The wicked waited for “a convenient season” to wipe out the memory of that family from the surface of the earth.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the enemy will not strike when you are ready for battle.
☆☆☆ The devil usually strikes when their victims are fully enganged in merry making.
☆☆☆ This is the time most people drop their guards in prayer.
☆☆☆ This is the time most people are too busy to pray.
☆☆☆ Beloved, to erase the devil’s “convenient season”, be ready in season and out of season.
☆☆☆ Remember the bible encourages us👇
“Pray without ceasing” – 1 Thessalonians 5 :17.
*PRAYERS*
1. Father, I grab the duster of heaven and I erase every “convenient season” the devil may be waiting for to attack me.
2. Devil, my life is not your testing ground, there is no parking space for you; keep moving and no stopping.
3. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to become a victim of the devil’s successful attacks in Jesus name.
4. Devil, you have no right over my life because I am secured and covered by the blood of Jesus.
5. Oh God my father, remove my name and those of my family members from the list of those programmed for affliction by the devil.
6. Father, don’t allow me to walk into the trap of the wicked in Jesus name.
7. In the journey of life, I refuse to be unfortunate in Jesus name.
8. Father, let me enjoy your uninterrupted peace despite all the security challenges all over.
9. I am not a candidate for sorrow and affliction in Jesus name.
10. Devil, your “convenient season” has been completely erased.
11. Devil, you are a failure and you will continue to fail over the affairs of my life in Jesus name.
12. Accident and sudden death shall not be my portion.
13. No weapon formed or fashioned against me shall prosper.
14. In the name of Jesus, I will rejoice for evermore.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for somebody today, the “convenient season” that the wicked is waiting for to afflict you will never come.
In the name of Jesus, I decree and declare, the “convenient season” that the household enemies are waiting for to erase your memory from the surface of the earth shall never come.
Your life will not run according to the time table of the wicked in Jesus name.
I pray for you again and I decree, the wicked will not turn your day of joy to a moment of mourning and sorrow in Jesus name.
In the name of Jesus, I decree, sorrow, weeping and agonising pains shall not be the end of your story.
I prophesy, those who are plotting your fall shall become your ladder to greatness.
In the name of Jesus, I decree, anyone who wants you dead shall replace you in burial.
I grabbed the heavenly duster and I wipe out every record of affliction being programmed into your life.
Your joy will not be truncated in Jesus mighty name.
