A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Comrade Idowu Afuye, has lauded the Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Akin Oyebode, for his remarkable expertise and unwavering dedication to the economic growth and wellbeing of the people of Ekiti State.
Comrade Afuye, a former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), and current Coordinator of Ekiti South Youth Vanguard for BAO, applauded the Finance Commissioner for aligning seamlessly with the progressive agenda of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration.
He particularly praised the recent initiative by the state government to unveil a One Billion Naira Cooperative Fund aimed at boosting small-scale businesses and empowering local entrepreneurs across the state. According to Comrade Afuye, this strategic intervention is not only timely but also reflects the foresight and developmental vision of Hon. Akin Oyebode.
“This cooperative fund represents a commendable effort to stimulate grassroots economic activity and uplift small business owners who are the backbone of our local economy,” he stated. “It is another clear demonstration of the administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development.”
Comrade Afuye further emphasized that the economic policies driven by the Finance Commissioner have significantly strengthened the financial landscape of the state, adding great value to the achievements of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
